April Grief: Grief Card for Anniversary of Loss

This card was created with the understanding that sometimes April is a really hard month for people. 

Maybe they are grieving the loss of a loved one. Maybe it’s the anniversary of a significant loss in their life. Maybe they have a loved one in the hospital, and they don’t know if they are going to make it. Maybe they are facing an incredible struggle right now in their lives. So many people can feel unseen and overlooked while the rest of the world moves on leaving them behind.

The front of the card is a field of red tulips and a rainbow in the sky. It says, “Some Aprils are filled with tulips and rainbows, but some Aprils are mixed in with loss and with sorrows.”

Inside the inscription reads, “If your April is shadowed by grief, I hope you can find a moment of peace. Sending you all my love. Be gentle with yourself today.”

This card was created to acknowledge the reality of life’s lows and hopefully help someone feel more connected, more loved, and less alone.  This is a condolences card for someone experiencing the anniversary of losing a loved one in April.
