Graduation Caps: Grief and Loss Card: Grieving Graduate Sympathy Card

This card was made for someone mourning the loss of a loved one and they are celebrating their graduation. When we celebrate milestones and a loved one has passed, emotions can be both heartbroken and celebratory. In making this card, I hope that anyone who is facing this celebratory time while grieving this loss will feel more seen, more connected, and less alone in their reality.

The cover depicts a sea of graduation caps and robes from behind. You can see the tops of all the graduation caps. In the crowd, you see one cap has “MISS YOU” written on the top. Inside inscription says, “When graduation celebrations are coupled with missing a loved one, it can feel disorienting. They would be so proud of you. Sending you all my love.”
