Poppies are a universal symbol of remembrance, hope and resilience.
As the artist, I painted this card in honor of Kenneth Jack Hendrickson, affectionately know as my Grandpa Chick. He was highly involved in our local VFW and always involved in the annual Poppy Program. Front image digitally painted by Christi Kmecik inspired by a photo taken by Katie Brown.
